Rory Miller at CHIRON offers some good advice for how to read a book. He also has some interesting comments related to early education. The parts on reading are based on reading for “maximizing comprehension and retention", not on “pleasure.” Good for those hard to understand math textbooks or philosophical works…not so good for rereading [...]
